This section includes networking documentation on how the various networks on campus are set up. Networks which are distinct from a link aggregating switch on down (utilizing VLAN envelopes or other technologies) should be described under separate headings. Basic information should be entered including purpose, subnet CIDR, network mask, gateway, and TCP/IP infrastructure as well as any other pertinent information like VLAN ID and basic topological flow across the network. More detailed information may be included in the form of internal links.


The Campus VLAN consists of several internal subnets and one external subnet. The Campus VLAN is represented by VLAN ID 1, and where supported, the logical name “campus”.
